URMMA is a member of the Association of Governmental Risk Pools (AGRIP), a national organization of governmental risk pools.
URMMA has achieved the AGRIP Advisory Standards Recognition which is granted to pools who meet a number of standards in the following areas:
- Government Regulations
- Governing Documents
- Staff and Service Providers
- Member Services
- Coverages
- Funding
- Financial Management
- Claims Management
- Professional Development
- Organizational Planning.
URMMA first achieved the recognition in 1997 through PRIMA and then again in 2000 after the organization of AGRIP was formed. URMMA has maintained this recognition, with the most recently recognition in October
