URMMA Library/Resources

URMMA has a number of resource materials available for loan to Members and for rent to affiliate organizations. The resource materials include video presentations, audio cassette tapes and slide presentations. URMMA plans to increase and update the video and audio selections.

The videos owned by URMMA include risk management and safety topics pertinent to municipalities.  Cities can select meterials that address their individual exposures and needs.  Members should also address the four highest loss exposures for URMMA: 1) Vehicle accidents, 2) land use and planning issues, 3) police operations, and 4) personnel issues, especially sexual harassment and terminations.

Most videos come with a written test that should be completed by employees and maintained in personnel or training files.
