This year’s education program focuses on providing exceptional customer service. Joanne Glantz, URMMA Education Manager, will provide training for all supervisors in all member cities. These training seminars are conducted in each city to groups of no more than 30 employees at a time. The small class size provides for maximum teacher/student interaction and participation.
In addition to the supervisor training, Joanne is available to teach a variety of other topics for city officials and employees. For a list of training topics, see the Training Topics page.
From time to time, URMMA holds roundtable discussions on a variety of topics pertaining to municipal operations. This is a perfect opportunity for city employees to share problems and solutions about topics such as sewer maintenance, parks, fleet safety, planning and general risk management issues.
Other seminars are presented by professionals on a variety of topics. See the calendar for upcoming seminars.
